Ethics, Responsibility and Climate Change: Business Challenge in 21st Century
The causes for instances of failing corporations cannot be looked in isolation, it reflects a trend in which the companies are run and concerns of stakeholders (including society and environment) are overlooked for increasing the bottom line. Incessant use of natural resources, increasing pollution and GHG emission and focusing merely on profits cumulatively point to a trend of governance in business organizations that is too heavily inclined towards short term profits; unmindful of long term impacts.
According to Wall Street Journal study (21-23 Nov 2008), of public companies, top executives and directors of the firms who had filed for bankruptcy cashed out a total of more than $21 billion during the period reviewed. The negotiations at Poznan failed to make headway on consensus towards concerted efforts to combat climate change.
All these events raise a question on what the 21st century in which we are already 9 years old hold for us and what will be the conditions and questions facing our future generations when they shall enter the 22 century. In order to make sure that their challenges are much different from what we have today, we have to discuss and evolve a new way of doing business that is more long term and priortizes issues in a way they should be.

Individualism... does it exists??
Everyone must be aware of the much hyped marriage of Priyanka and Umar.... no no... i dont want to write about them ... plz...they are two grown up individual... matured enough to take their own decision... let them... i want to write about those leaders of our society who think they can decide good and bad about the society...
First of all whats the definition of GOOD or in that case BAD? Do we have one? who has the power to define it? how can we judge? is it not only a perception of what we think?
After priyanka and umar's case... the so called 'netas' of the sindhi community issued a 'farmaan' that girls cant wear duppatta to cover their face when they are out on the road, they cant drive and they cant keep a mobile phone. These things are BAD for them. Ok, if that is the truth then i have something more to tell...
First instance...i m staying in Bhopal and do carry a mobile phone with me, whenever i m walking down the streets for some or the other work i carry the mobile in my hand. Do you know why so??? Whenever a person sees the mobile in my hand they hardly try to do any kind of 'badtamizi' with me, they know that though alone, i m just a phone call away from people. So is keeping a mobile a BAD thing???
Secondly... recently i was in Indore. I was out in the burning sun, moving from market to market for work on bike. Due to this i had a heat stroke. My mother said if i would have covered my face and head with cloth then it would not have happened. If covering the face and head would have been bad, would my mother have suggested that?? and if at all it is BAD in a sense that you are trying to hide your identity... then why leaders from the Muslim community propagates to do so?
Thirdly... If girls dont have a bike they will always have to depend on some or the other person if the public transport is not good as in the case of "bhopal". in present days when girls and females are going for further studies and jobs can they always depend on their families for traveling? Those of you guys, who have their own vehicle can you imagine you life from tomorrow when you are not having your vehicle? So, why keeping a vehicle can be considered as BAD?
Can some one or some people decide what is good or bad for the whole society? Dont individuals have right to decide and define Good and Bad for themselves? Were is individualism? does it exists?

Colours of Life .... VIBRANT
Specially for U... PooH...
i have already written a testimonial for u... and i know u cherish tht... so u must be wondering y i m writing this... isn't it... he he he ... coz u are one of the colour in Colours of my life.... i term u "Vibrant"
Many a people thought tht i have pampered u by writing the testimonial... but truly... it wasn't so... I wrote it somewhere after deepawali.... That day reminds me of the gr8 talks under the clear sky... the mast dance in the living room... the biryani... the coke... what a day... a wonderful start of a lifelong experience... experience which i will always treasure in my hearts...
I still remeber that deepawali day .... wen all the candles were burnt out and there was not much lightining in the colony either ... but there were hundred of stars in the clear sky and sound of crackers coming from the distance... me and PooH both were just lying on the plastic carpet under the half roofed terrace, sharing those beautiful moments of ur life spent in IIFM...
that day was just a beginning... sharing didnt stopped there... be it the chocolate... the cold coffee... the Bull's eye (I love tht)... Haansi... MOVIES... secrets... sorrows... difficuties...silence... day to day experiences... jokes...PJs... everything... i must admit... everything means everything
I have told this before... but PooH, u must be remembering the day when i was lying in the corner of the bed holding the the pillow so tight and weeping in the middle of the nite... u said nothing... u knew i was crying silently…u didn’t asked for the reason but u just kept a hand over me ... it felt so very GOOD... it helped me too sleep…
Be On my side… for the rest of my life… I definitely need u… u make me happy… u make me chirpy… that is y I call u “Vibrant” u make me vibrant… :)

landing again...
today... i have completed almost a year of experience that counts... a year ...of professional experience... a year... which can be mentioned in CV... a year... with which i am supposed to behave with more maturity... a year ... when the experiments ends and i am not eligible to make mistakes...
today... i am back to the place where i have spent the most beautiful moments in my life... the place ... i craved to be back when i was not here ... the place ... where i realised that "ek ladka aur ek ladki bhi ache dost ban sakte hain" the real meaning of real friendship... the place... which many would support if i refer as Heaven...
but today... i know... the time not important... place is not important... but what is important are the people around you...
today... i miss u all who have been part of my life which started in Bhopal and again comes back to the same old Bhopal ....
